Installing Rain Gutters

Installing rain gutters is very important to keep the integrity of your house foundation. Rain gutters will keep away rain water from flowing into your house foundation. It will prevent such erosion on the soil and basement damage or leaks as well. In order to get the best functionality of rain gutters there are some steps in installing rain gutters that you have to follow. First one is measuring and purchasing the necessary materials for the total length of the gutters needed. Once the materials are purchased and measured, you need to create a layout on the location you are going to place the gutters. Use chalk to mark the starting point and ending point and also the area between them that is the place for installing rain gutters. Then you will have to cut the gutters in accordance to the length needed. Use a hacksaw very carefully to cut the rain gutters at the right measurement that you have made previously. Nest step to do is attaching the brackets needed to hold the gutters in its place on the fascia along the roof later on.

Next thing to do in rain gutters installing is to put a mark for the downspout opening right on the gutter. Create a square whole using jigsaw which is in the right size of the downspout connector. Then you need to place the connector on the hole using sealant to hold the connector on the gutter. Then the next step is to mount and place the gutter on the previously attached brackets. After the gutter is in place then snap the downspout on the connector and make sure it is in the right direction. Seal any available gutter connection using sealant to finish installing rain gutters on your house.
